Resumen

Este estudio investiga a los estudiantes que alcanzan el éxito académico después de dificultades iniciales en términos de reveses, mecanismos de afrontamiento y sistemas de apoyo. Los estudiantes que alcanzan el éxito académico después de dificultades iniciales suelen enfrentar desafíos en materias como matemáticas e inglés debido a lagunas conceptuales y habilidades fundamentales insuficientes. La tutoría personalizada y las estrategias educativas específicas son intervenciones cruciales para abordar estos obstáculos y fomentar el crecimiento académico. Los mecanismos de afrontamiento se centran en la motivación intrínseca y la resiliencia, incluido el establecimiento de metas claras, el cultivo de redes de apoyo entre pares y la inspiración de pasiones personales como el entusiasmo por los animales, promoviendo la perseverancia para superar los obstáculos académicos. Los sistemas de apoyo de maestros y pares son esenciales en el camino de los estudiantes que alcanzan el éxito académico, ya que brindan no solo orientación académica sino también apoyo emocional crucial que influye en su bienestar general. Se recomienda mejorar la capacitación de los maestros y promover prácticas inclusivas en el aula para fortalecer estos sistemas de apoyo. Metodológicamente, este estudio sintetiza entrevistas cualitativas y revisiones de la literatura para destacar estrategias efectivas para empoderar a los estudiantes que alcanzan el éxito académico y personal, enfatizando la importancia del apoyo personalizado y fomentando un entorno de aprendizaje positivo.
